Throughout the years, with the help of a dedicated, experienced workforce, Brakebush has kept the same ideals that our founders started - providing the highest quality products to meet the needs of restaurant operators, schools, healthcare facilities, convenience stores and everyone who wants to serve their customers great tasting chicken.POSITION: SHIPPING/RECEIVING FLOATER OPERATORHOURS: TBDCOMPENSATION: TBDREPORTS TO: Shipping Supervisor / Shipping LeadEMPLOYMENT: Full timeJOB SUMMARY: Operate shipping and receiving PIT to load trailers and storage areas with product and other inventory related to operations.JOB DUTIES: Safely operate forklift to pick up, load, and unload orders from outbound and inbound trailers. Receiving ingredients/meat loads in SAP Stock Transfer orders IN SAP. Transferring products to and from storage Maintaining housekeeping for clean docks, freezers, office and storage areas Communicate with production and QA teams Follow all USDA and company TQC regulations. Responsible for outside facilities i.e. Protein recycling, cardboard recycling. Record keeping of all recycled weights. Cleaning organizing Yard area and outside docking stations. Cleaning out Storage trailers. Accurate cycle counts for inventory purposes. WORKING CONDITIONS: Exposure to varying temperatures from warm to very cold, noise, humidity, moving vehicles, slippery floors, possible heavy and repeated lifting. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.QUALIFICATIONS: Must complete Forklift and other relevant powered industrial truck trainings (yard dog, scissor lift, pallet jack, etc) and hazard communication training courses. Must demonstrate good communication. Must meet Shipping Back & Task requirements.
