The Resource is hiring a Receptionist/Purchasing Office Assistant for our client, a supplier of medical and electro-mechanical devices, located in Winston-Salem. This opportunity is Temp-to-Hire, offers a pay rate of $18.00 per hour, and has a 1st shift working schedule (8: 00am-5: 00pm). The Receptionist/Purchasing Administrative Assistant position is an important part of the Purchasing team and supports the company' s commitment to exceptional customer service by maintaining system accuracy. Ideal candidates demonstrates excellent accuracy and attention to detail, the ability to prioritize and adapt, and connects these skills through open, effective communication in a team environment. Qualified candidates should have excellent client-facing communication skills, computer knowledge, and strong organizational skills. Responsibilities: - Answer multi-line phone system, take messages, field /answer all routine and non-routine questions and direct calls as required - Greet clients and vendors upon arrival and direct them to appropriate offices - Design and maintain filing and storage systems in the office Monitor and maintain office supply inventory in purchasing as well as back office area - Retrieve documents and files when requested - Read and route incoming mail and process outgoing mail - Develop and apply a general understanding of Purchasing department operations - Collaborate with Sales and Purchasing teams to ensure a smooth flow of accurate information to our customers - Create, maintain, run and share reports - Generate purchase orders - Order, pick up lunch for executive team - Order, set up and clean up - lunch for customers and auditors - Coffee, set up and clean up for customers and auditors - Run essential errands for business using company car - Perform additional job duties as required Qualifications: - Associate degree preferred or equivalent level of education and related experience - Valid Driver' s License - At least two years of experience in an customer service/administrative role - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Flexibility to adapt to changing business demands - Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills - Strong computer skills - Outlook, Word, Excel - Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to maintain a high level of customer service - Be able to work creatively, independently and collaboratively as a team member and be able to multi-task Submit your application or resume online, or in person at 1292 S.
