Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting in Hickory, NC. The position is full-time, contracted for the current school year, with regular school hours. The role involves providing speech-language services primarily through IEP-based treatment and evaluations. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students, including several middle schoolers, a couple of high school students, and primarily preschool-aged children - Deliver direct speech-language therapy and conduct evaluations aligned with IEP goals - Serve students across three school locations, with travel time between locations up to 10 minutes - Work within special education parameters without involvement in MTSS processes Preferred Qualifications: - Valid SLP credentials, preferably with CCC certification and experience in school-based and pediatric settings - Experience managing a caseload within a K-12 school environment, including preschool and adolescent populations - Ability to organize schedules efficiently when traveling among multiple school sites - Strong skills in evaluation and individualized treatment planning This contract role offers a structured schedule, focusing on delivering tailored speech-language pathology services in an educational setting.
