Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. This contract position is for an EC Special Education
Teacher to support elementary or high school students in a public
school setting. The role is full-time, working 37.5 hours per week
from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The contract runs
through May 27, 2026, and requires availability as soon as
possible. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct assessments and testing
to evaluate student needs - Develop, implement, and manage
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student -
Provide specialized instruction in both cross-categorical special
education and general education curriculum settings - Collaborate
with educators, families, and support staff to ensure comprehensive
support for students Qualifications and Experience: - Certification
or licensure in Special Education - Experience working with
elementary or high school students in special education settings -
Strong knowledge of EC cross-categorical and general curriculum
strategies - Proven ability to conduct assessments and write
effective IEPs - Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Location: - Based in a public elementary school in Mooresville, NC,
