active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A full-time position is
available for a Physical Therapist to provide specialized services
within the K-12 school setting located in the Research Triangle
area of North Carolina. This role supports approximately 30 to 40
students across elementary, middle, and high schools, with
schedules aligned to school bell times ranging from early morning
to mid-afternoon. The assignment is a contract role starting
immediately and continuing through June 10, 2026. Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to students in
approximately 5 to 9 schools, with visitation frequency varying
based on school needs. - Assess, plan, and implement treatment
strategies that support students educational and developmental
goals. - Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
to tailor interventions within the school environment. - Document
progress and maintain compliance with district and state
regulations. Qualifications: - Current, active Physical Therapy
license is mandatory. - Previous experience working as a Physical
Therapist in school settings is required. - Ability to manage a
diverse caseload ranging from elementary through high school
students. - Strong communication and organizational skills to
coordinate effectively across multiple schools. Location and
Schedule: - Position is onsite within Central and North-Central
Durham schools. - Full-time at 37.5 hours per week following
established school bell schedules. This role offers a meaningful
