Our client is searching for a Quality Engineer who will be
responsible for ensuring that the manufacturing operation and
products are following quality, compliance and customer
requirements through internal audits, quality plan development and
continuous improvement initiatives. If you have working knowledge
of PPAP, Control Plans, SPC, APQP, DOE, Gauge R&R, Sampling
Plans (AQL) and other quality statistical tools- we want to talk
with you!

responsibilities:
The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the
manufacturing operation and products are following quality,
compliance and customer requirements through internal audits,
quality plan development and continuous improvement initiatives
Develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management System
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering in the validation of new
equipment, processes, inspection/measurement methods and/or
acceptance criteria
Assist the Quality Manager by serving in a leadership role, working
with cross-functional teams to address quality issues with the use
of systematic improvement and problem-solving tools.(i.e
Lean Six Sigma, PDCA, A3, etc.)
Setup and maintain systems for data collection, analysis and
reporting of First Pass Yield, Scrap or other related KPIs as
established in the Factory's Daily Management system
Manage test records/ results/ documentations to comply with process
control plans, ISO standards and document control revisions
Interface with suppliers on key quality issues during launch,
production and performing periodic audits/reviews
Support cross-functional teams with process improvements via
project ownership, collaboration or Kaizen events participation
Work with manufacturing operations to develop control plans, FMEAs,
standard work, SOP's, policies and business procedures
Provides training/coaching to the manufacturing organization
regarding Quality concepts, inspection methods, acceptance criteria
or other procedure changes/improvements
Performs other related duties as needed and assigned
