This newly created position will be working under the direction of
the Engineering Manager maintaining critical master data and
documentation within the D365 ERP System. This role serves as the
technical bridge between Engineering, Quality, and Production,
ensuring that all production and new production introduction (NPI)
data - including part numbers, bills of materials (BOM), and
production routes and commodity codes are accurately created,
maintained, and compliant with quality standards, Requirements Job
Duties and Responsibilities ERP Data Management: Execute the
end-to-end setup of released products in D365, including the
assignment of unique part numbers and technical attributes. BOM
Creation & Maintenance: Build and manage multi-level Bills of
Materials; perform BOM versioning and certification to ensure
production readiness and costing accuracy. Routing & Process
Mapping: Create and maintain manufacturing routes in D-365 for all
areas of the business. Commodity & Trade Compliance: Enter and
maintain commodity codes to ensure accurate customs identification
and duty calculations. NPI Quality Documentation: Author and
maintain technical documentation for new product launches,
including work Instructions, process flow charts, and PFMEA/DFMEA
reports. System Optimization : Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot
data discrepancies and optimize D365 workflows for better data
integrity across the NPI lifecycle Education and Experience High
school diploma or GED required, two-year technical degree or
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, or a related
technical field and/or equivalent combination of education and
experience, preferred. Experience: 1 – 2 years in a technical
administrative or engineering support role within a manufacturing
environment. ERP Expertise: Proven experience using ERP systems;
Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred. Technical Skills: Strong
understanding of manufacturing structures, including
sub-assemblies, BOMs, and routing links. Attention to Detail: High
accuracy in managing complex datasets and regulatory codes
(Commodity codes). Familiarity with Power BI for data validation
and reporting. Experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality
documentation standards. Strong planning and organisation skills,
ability to multi-task and deal with a varied workload Benefits We
