Fortuna Enterprises, LLC is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Greensboro. We specialize in the high-precision world of commercial food service. If you enjoy the technical challenge of working on diverse systems, from heavy-duty freezers to intricate soft-serve and ice machines, this is the role for you. Key Responsibilities Specialized Service: Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial refrigeration units, with a heavy focus on soft-serve ice cream machines, ice machines, slushie machines, and commercial refrigerators/freezers. Preventative Maintenance: Ensure equipment longevity and food safety standards through routine cleaning, part replacement, and performance calibrations. Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics: Use digital multimeters to test voltage, continuity, resistance, and capacitors. Troubleshoot components including solenoid valves, relays, contactors, and pressure switches. Blueprint Accuracy: Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to resolve complex technical issues efficiently. Client Interaction: Provide professional on-site service to local restaurants and commercial kitchens, representing Fortuna Enterprises with expertise and care. Shop & Field Versatility: Occasionally assist with general facilities maintenance, including basic plumbing and electrical tasks. Schedule & Environment Primary Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Flexibility: Our clients rely on us to stay operational. This role requires a flexible mindset, as some days may involve an early start or a late finish depending on the service call volume. Daily Workflow: Technicians start and end their workday at our Greensboro office. Benefits & Equipment Tools Provided: All necessary tools and diagnostic equipment will be furnished. You won’t need to provide your own kit to get the job done. Company Vehicle: A company vehicle is provided for all travel and service calls. Refrigeration Experience: Proven experience in commercial refrigeration repair, specifically with small-appliance or commercial kitchen equipment. Critical Thinking: Excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure. Professional Standards: Detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to high-quality workmanship.
