Marriott International is seeking a competent and proactive Hotel Engineer I to join our facilities management team. With properties spanning across 139 countries, our engineers play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards and operational efficiency of our hotels. As a Hotel Engineer I, you will ensure that all hotel facilities and systems operate seamlessly to provide our guests with an unparalleled staying experience. Perform routine checks and maintenance of heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical systems, and other machinery. Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency calls. Conduct repairs on hotel equipment and facilities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in monitoring energy efficiency and costs. Collaborate with team members to improve services and efficiency. Report on maintenance activities and systems condition to management. Extensive knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in using hand and power tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) or HVAC certification preferred.
