We offer: $35 per hour depending on certifications Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance 401(k) retirement plan Employee purchase program Paid Vacation / Sick time On-going training Opportunity for advancement Responsibilities - Service Technician: Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or Mopar standards Identify/diagnose problem(s)and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions in order to stay current with rapidly changing technology. Inspect and test new vehicles and record results so necessary repairs can be made Qualifications/Requirements - Service Technician : At least 1 year of experience required CDJR experience is preferred ASE certification is a plus but not required Maintain an organized neat and safe bay. A high level of motivation and energy and strong customer service skills. Experience in auto service OR recent completion of automotive tech/trade school Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service Working knowledge of shop equipment (such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, A/C equipment, etc.) Demonstrated success in work ethic.
