JOB SUMMARY We---re looking for a digitally-savvy, data-driven Email Marketing Strategist to own and drive high-performing email campaigns that engage, convert and retain customers in support of eCommerce goals. This key role oversees the eCommerce email strategy and execution, campaign calendar, segmentation strategy, KPIs and ongoing optimization. The ideal candidate will be passionate about all things digital and possess a keen understanding of how email complements and fits into the overall digital consumer journey. Strong project management skills, analytical thinking and executional excellence, along with the ability to juggle multiple projects while respecting tight deadlines will be key to success. In addition, as a member of the Digital Marketing team, you will help create and share learnings and best practices, socialize bold action, and promote digital behavior adoption and engagement. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the end-to-end creation and execution of email communications, consumer segmentation strategy, ongoing optimization, KPI analysis and reporting. Develop and express a consistent email voice and visual style that aligns with the brand---s positioning and pillars. Manage multiple parallel email marketing campaigns and initiatives, collaborating with eCommerce and Brand teams to schedule and calendarize. Analyze campaign results and use insight to inform future campaigns. Develop A/B tests to improve KPIs, including deliverability, open rates, click throughs, conversion to sales and unsubscribe rates. Develop best-in-class segmentation, targeting, and personalization tactics throughout the consumer purchase journey. Collaborate with Designers, Marketing Operations and agency partners to execute brand equity, promotional and ---right message/right time/right audience--- email campaigns. Stay abreast of and implement email marketing best practices, bringing bold, innovative ideas to continuously improve engagement and performance metrics. Work closely with the CRM and Analytics teams to enhance the quality of the data we utilize for emailing campaigns and to support established consumer journeys. Proactively share wins and lessons learned to improve departmental and global marketing competency. Proactively champion innovation and new concepts that will take email and journey orchestration campaigns to the next level of engagement and performance. Required Skills and Experience: 5 years related work experience in digital marketing, digital CRM (B2C/D2C) or e-commerce 4 years email marketing experience Excellent understanding of email marketing best practices and trends Fluency with email KPIs and analytics and ability to interpret and act on insights Solid knowledge of digital marketing principals and fundamentals Understanding of buyer personas and customer journeys with the ability to analyze data in order to continually optimize campaigns for efficient ROI Outstanding project management skills with proven experience managing simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment Solid understanding of on and offline marketing communication channels and database marketing Must be able to work independently and collaboratively (team oriented) with an enthusiastic attitude Highly collaborative, with a passion for data, digital strategy and results Preferred Skills/Experience: Proficient in activating 1:1 segmented campaign with real-time personalization and customized messaging Email copywriting experience in a distinctive brand voice In-depth knowledge of email automation systems Experience with Adobe Campaign and Adobe Marketing Suite Experience creating or designing campaign/marketing automation strategies Compensation/Targeted Bonus Competitive Annual Salary Targeted Annual Bonus Relocation assistance available for those who qualify.
