We are looking for a Director, HR Business Partner - Finance SENIORITY LEVEL: Senior Level FUNCTION: Human Resources LOCATION: Winston Salem, NC This position reports to Vice President HR Business Partner - Scientific Research & Development (SR&D) and Corporate Functions. The role will be responsible for partnering with Senior Leaders across the Finance Department to lead the delivery of the talent agenda for the function. This role will be instrumental in shaping our culture, supporting our business strategies, and developing the talent pipeline necessary to deliver on our objectives. The role will be expected to leverage best-in-class HR practices to lead, develop, deliver, and support programs that continue to make Reynolds a "Great Place to Work" four years in a row. Reports to: Vice President, HRBP Corporate & Scientific Research & Development Direct Reports: n/a What you will be accountable for: * Primary strategic partner to Finance function, developing HR Strategies, needs assessments and resulting HR solutions. * Build relationships with business leaders to offer thought leadership on organizational and people related strategy and execution. * Ensuring the effective delivery of all HR programs and services. Responsible for HR results in the business including client satisfaction, HR effectiveness and associated financial results. * Partner with the functional leadership team to assess the state of the workforce and ensure the business attracts, develops and retains high quality talent at all levels in a continuous pipeline to support the growth objectives, opportunities, and strategies of the business. * Play an active leadership role in the commitment to continuous improvement and be perceived as credible and capable of leading organization effectiveness across the business. Serve as a steward of the talent management processes at a functional level to ensure feedback, documentation, and follow-up progress occurs. * Build working relationships with the Center of Excellence (COE) functions to ensure client's needs are understood and met. * Work with clients to implement and manage human resources processes, including: * Talent management, development, recruitment and succession planning * Employee engagement strategies and plans * Base salary determination and review (e.g. dual career ladders, job evaluation), annual bonus and long-term incentives (stock option and restricted stock) * Strategic workforce planning * Employee relations CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE? Can you support our Executive team to drive people initiatives that supports our overall business strategy? Essential experience, skills and knowledge * Minimum of seven to ten years of experience in progressively responsible roles within human resources, including human resources business partner or "generalist" roles. Previous rotation in a specialist role is a plus. * Experience leveraging organizational design principles and strategies to drive organizational effectiveness preferred. * Prior experience implementing talent strategies for a finance or corporate function would be beneficial * Experience in a multi-national global consumer products company would be beneficial. * Knowledgeable in leading edge business practices, trends and information; aware of reward and benefits strategies and innovative tactics being applied in the marketplace. * Demonstrated leadership and people management experience, with the ability to lead and develop individuals at all levels and with an array of skill sets. * Solid project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. * Bachelor's or graduate degree in business, human resources or a related field preferred. * SHRM or HCI Certification preferred COMPENSATION * Competitive Annual Salary * Targeted Annual Bonus * Relocation assistance available for those who qualify.
