Senior HR Generalist (Talent Arts Manager)Are you eager to work

member with strong experience in employee relations, leadership
coaching and training, and working on projects such as adjusting
processes and creating training modules. Any experience managing
corporate HR processes would be helpful as this person will likely
transition to manage certain functions. We seek someone who is
collaborative and enthusiastic about working together to enhance
the culture and processes of the organization in conjunction with
the rest of our HR team.This person will demonstrate support of our

builds connections with leaders and employees, ensuring that the

actions, trainings, etc. The Senior HR Generalist ensures
compliance with employment laws related to employee relations. They
may be assigned to a portion of the organization but will
ultimately be required to support any area as needed.This
individuals title will be Talent Arts Manager as they will serve as
project leader and manager of certain corporate Human Resources
functions (not of staff). They must ensure that they maintain their
knowledge through training/classes, as well as through researching
laws and working with the Senior Director and outside organizations
as needed to be up to date on those functions.Job Duties:Serves as
a values leader: Lives, speaks and acts in alignment with the
corporate values and with the concepts of inclusiveness, equity and
diversity. Reiterates values in trainings and uses values in
employee/leadership relations to guide discussions. Ensures values
and DE&I concepts resonate throughout the organization and are
framed in understandable, non-punitive formats.Serves as a resource
to all employees, supervisors, and key leaders on personnel matters
and instills in all an awareness of best workplace and employment
practices.Receives and investigates employee complaints, ensuring
that all sides in the dispute feel heard and respected. Works with
leaders to conduct even-handed and thorough investigations,
ensuring that the complainant and the accused party are able to
provide their sides of the story and that back-up witness
information and/or data is captured and recorded. Makes final
decision based on facts, taking into account the protection of
residents and other employees. Ensures employees and managers are
held accountable for both performance and values-related concerns,
and supported in their improvement, through discussions, coaching,
trainings or formal discipline.Works with the Senior Director of HR
to develop and conduct in-person and online trainings for staff and
leaders. Creates interactive trainings for complex concepts and
breaks learning down into digestible pieces. Creates high quality
training materials both in-person and online. Arranges for time,
place and materials for trainings and works with the Senior
Director to determine training needs and build training calendar.
Coaches leaders and staff one on one as needed.Integrates new
leaders into the organization to ensure they adopt the appropriate
leadership philosophy, have all necessary training and understand
Human Resources processes.Handles projects (investigating
processes, conducting focus groups, leading task forces) as
assigned by the Senior Director of HR. Uncovers obstacles to
project completion, shows strong follow-up abilities and ensures
project timeline is met while achieving a high level of
quality.Performs stay interviews, exit interviews and other
information gathering tasks as needed.For their areas of
responsibility (managing certain corporate HR functions) will
perform reporting and create procedures for that area. Will ensure
that all required activities related to that area are performed in
a timely and high-quality manner.Key Knowledge, Skills, and
AbilitiesStrong training and presentation skills able to present
engagingly while ensuring that audience feels included and that
trainings are interactive. Able to redirect participants as needed
and strategize on ways to make sure they get involved.Strong
interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain
positive working relationships with both supervisors and those they
supervise. Ability to inspire trust and confidence in others and to
communicate with ease with people with diverse racial, ethnic,
social, economic, and educational backgrounds.Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite, to include PowerPoint and Excel. Experience
in HCM/HRIS applications and the ability to learn and pick-up on
new technology quickly.The ability to listen/understand, read,
write and speak fluently in English.Ability to embody and uphold
the corporate personality and culture of Arbor Acres with its
emphasis on warmth, caring, generation of community, enthusiasm,
achievement of excellence, inclusion and joy.A valid drivers
licenses and ongoing MVR checks will be required as this individual
will be driving occasionally to conferences, job fairs, meetings,
etc.Bilingual a plus, but not requiredMinimum EducationBachelors
degree strongly preferred.PHR or SHRM-CP strongly preferred.Minimum
ExperienceMinimum 7-10 years HR employee relations experience,
preferably working closely with individuals who work hands on in
service (ex. Dining, Housekeeping, CNA, etc.) Healthcare experience
may be helpful, but not required.3 years + experience in creating
and delivering training, including supervisory training.It would be
helpful to have 3-5+ years experience in at least a few areas of
corporate HR at a level of knowledge that can serve as a resource
to others in the department.Prefer experience in and a creativity
with using technology and other tools to support systems and
