Job Description Summary Supports the director in departmental planning and monitoring progress. Enhances productivity and ensure compliance with rules and regulations. Job Description Job Title: Assistant Director, Employer Experience Department: Employer Relations Summary: Manages and executes University-wide recruiting events, services, and logistics for all undergraduate and graduate students with a focus on Finance or Data and Analytics. Strategically facilitates new employer connections for Wake Forest students by utilizing outreach initiatives, alumni and parent networks, and the university ecosystem. Essential Functions: Owns, manages and executes all recruiting events, services, and logistics for on-campus and off-campus recruiting activity based on current business processes. Schedules and manages execution of company information events and programs. Works with employers and recruiters to post roles, submit resumes to employers for pre-selection, and create interview schedules. Engages with potential new employers to promote Wake Forest students and encourage engagement and recruiting activity. Manages on-going relationships with employers and provides the highest level of customer satisfaction for all constituencies. Contacts and meets with employers to understand changing recruiting needs and offers advice on strategies to increase recruiting success. Handles large volume of incoming recruiting telephone calls/emails/inquiries; follows-up on sensitive issues and concerns in a timely manner, and uses expert knowledge of policies and recruiting strategies to advise recruiting organizations and students. Serves as key ambassador for the Office of Personal and Career Development (OPCD) and Market Readiness and Employment (MRE) teams. Meets with recruiters when organizations are interviewing on campus. Coordinates administration, faculty, and staff involvement in visits to promote "voice of the market." Assesses and suggests improved business processes for each recruiting cycle to respond to the changing needs of employers and students to further enhance the recruiting experience. Serves as a key contact for employer and student questions regarding systems procedures as well as problems. Monitors and documents system issues with the recruiting systems and promptly communicates issues or software bugs. Monitors potential calendar conflicts with Academic & Student Life Departments and suggest solutions to meet all constituencies' expectations and needs. Offers students and career coaches effective and targeted information and resources through research on multiple industries and organizations. Collaborates closely with campus partners to achieve goals of sharing timely information and messaging. In collaboration with all faculty and staff, executes processes, events, and other Employer Relations experiences in a way that aligns with the strategic vision and the Wake Forest standard of excellence. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Bachelor's degree. Strong work ethic, integrity and personal accountability; ability to use independent judgment, manage sensitive information, and maintain confidentiality of information. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, the internet, and other relevant software. Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills; ability to effectively manage competing priorities. Ability to excel in a fast paced, deadline driven environment; self-directed with the ability to work collaboratively or individually. Ability to present and display professional demeanor at all times. Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Previous experience in recruiting, sales, staffing agency or business development roles.
