Marvel Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Thomasville, North Carolina.Job Description & Requirements

Target ratios are 1:4-6. Could fluctuate up or down based on unit needs and/or surges. Please ensure travelers are comfortable with this. Thomasville ED is a small community hospital nested among a large healthcare system spanning NC, VA, and SC. The ED has 21 beds with 4 beds dedicated to behavioral health patients. The ED is a certified stroke and chest pain center. Nursing assignments are 1:4-6 with a charge nurse out of the count each shift. The facility has a growing ICU with 12 bed capacity and an inpatient medical/surgical unit with 35 beds. Thomasville also has OB/L&D services, surgical services and a large inpatient geriatric behavioral health unit that supports many surrounding communities. Thomasville ED has a strong culture of teamwork and we look forward to welcoming travelers to our department.Unit serves pediatrics through geriatrics. PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR. Certifications REQUIRED: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS and CPI. Preferred: TNCC, SANE, NRP.Skills REQUIRED: IV Start, Triage, Telemetry, Conscious Sedation. Preferred: Vents. Minimum Experience Required: 2 years. Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler: Yes. Scrubs: Navy Blue.Self schedule with balancing by unit leadership to meet dept needs.
