Float may be required to other med/surg units as needed.
Every third weekend required.
Ratios - 1:6-7. Target ratio is 1:6, could go to 1:7 in times of
surge but that would be the exception, not the norm.
Required: BCLS, Telemetry. Minimum Experience Required - 1
Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler - prefer 1st time travelers to have
Epic documentation experience.
24 hours of orientation. Navy and/or white scrubs.
Unit Info: Avg. Daily Census 12. Beds: 14. Patient info - Adults
Target Ratios - 1:6.
Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR.
Patient Diagnosis - medical and post surgical patients including
but not limited to hip/knee replacements, small bowel obstruction,
post procedure pacemaker, prostatectomy, TURP, laparoscopic
surgeries, etc. Remote telemetry monitoring.
