  • Unit WILL NOT Accept 1st Time Travelers (Must have at least 1 year of travel experience. Prefer 2 years previous travel experience)

  • RATIOS: 1:5-6
  • Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays!
  • 36 hrs only
  • SHIFT: 12HR DAYS
  • ***RTO -7 DAYS MAX***
  • Float Requirement: Floating to any other MS/Tele areas required, may include COVID care units
  • 42 daily census. 43 rooms/beds
  • UNIT SYSTEMS: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR
  • SCHEDULING TYPE: Preferred Scheduling
  • UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 Hours
  • SCRUBS: Navy
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Year Experience in MedSurg
    • Traveler Experience: at least 1 year of travel experience required
    • Skills: IV Start and Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias and Management of dysrhythmias, Med/Surg neuro EXPERIENCE
    • Certs: BCLS, NIHSS (ACLS preferred, not required)
    • Float Requirement: to any other MS/Tele areas, may include COVID care units
      • Schedule Information
      • RATIOS: 1:5-6
      • 36 hrs only
      • SHIFT: 12HR DAYS
      • RTO -7 DAYS MAX
      • Travelers are required to work every other weekend
      • Frequent floating may be required
      • If a traveler calls out of a shift, they are expected to make up that day the same week or at the end of their contract
        • Unit Specific Information
        • PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Primarily for Stroke patients, Neurosurgery patients, other Neuro diagnoses
        • SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: 4 BED Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) at Intermediate level, nurse has 4:1
        • UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 Hours
        • Float to other MS/Tele areas required, may include COVID care units
        • Travelers are required to work every other weekend
