• - ACLS, BCLS, with NIH preferred.
• - Skills Required: IV Start and Telemetry.
• - Certifications Required: Advanced MRI Safety Training For Healthcare Professionals, Per Diem only, MOAB for all ER and BH nurses, Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam, Novant - Confidentiality Agreement, Novant - Education Roster, Novant - Tobacco-Free Campus Acknowledgement.

  • - Overflow unit for winter census
  • - RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite.
  • - Ratios: 1:6-7.
  • - 12hr DAYS Fri-Mon schedule
  • - May be required to work a week day holiday shift
  • - Will accept 48HRS.
  • - Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 to get the Unit through the Holidays!
  • - FLOATING REQUIRED as needed to similar units.
  • - WEEKEND Schedule: Friday-Monday
  • - Patient Population: General Surgery and Medical Tele. Cardiac telemetry /medical telemetry.
  • - Various diagnoses requiring either medical intervention or surgical procedures.
  • - Daily Census= 18. PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR.
    • Job Requirements
    • - Minimum Experience Required: 2 years.
    • - Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler: Yes.
    • - 36hrs of Orientation.
    • - Scrubs: Navy Blue.

      • - 12hr DAYS Fri-Mon schedule (may be required to work a week day holiday shift)
      • - Will accept 48HRS.
      • - WEEKEND Schedule: Friday-Monday
        • Additional Details
        • - AHA or American Red Cross Only. AHA-RQI and AHA instructor cards are acceptable.
        • - PER DIEM - Required for Telephone Triage/Call Center.
        • - For techs, allied and non-clinical, certifications will now also appear in the Unit Description.
        • - Please reach out to your Team Leader if certifications for allied and non-clinical are not populating.
        • - Continue to utilize the allied licensure report in addition to the Unit Description for license and tech cert requirements.
        • - A Color Blind Test within 1 year of start via Relias or approved sub agency online vendor is required for all Novant travelers.
        • - If a traveler scores below an 80%, we must ask the facility for approval.
