Job Description:
The licensed veterinary technician provides compassionate,
detail-oriented nursing care for hospitalized and outpatient
animals.
Responsible for accurately executing treatments, diagnostics,
medication administration, and maintaining detailed medical
records.
Skilled in blood draws, catheter placements, radiographs,
anesthesia induction, patient monitoring, transfusions, and
emergency procedures like CPR.
Ensures patient comfort, safety, and infection control, while
supporting surgical and anesthesia protocols.
Maintains clear communication with clients and team, documents
treatments, manages inventory, and upholds safety standards.
Requires CVT licensure, 5+ years emergency/critical care
experience, strong technical skills, physical stamina, and
excellent communication.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in a fast-paced
environment, and stay current with continuing education.
