We are actively interviewing for a Board-Certified Cardiologist to expand cardiovascular health services for our growing practice. Responsibilities:

• The Cardiologist is a dynamic and flexible individual who is licensed/board certified. This professional will play a key role in providing direct patient care and assessments.
• Provides excellent cardiovascular care in an outpatient setting.
• Follows level of medical care and quality for patients and monitors care using available data and chart reviews.
• Management of chronic cardiovascular diseases includes ordering appropriate imaging or lab tests and recommending treatment plans as indicated by the patient's clinical needs.
• Perform accurate interpretation of lab tests, EKG, and echocardiograms, arterial and venous vascular studies, exercise stress test, stress echo, nuclear stress tests.
• Staying up to date on the latest research into cardiovascular medicine.
• Consults with and coaches primary care providers about management of cardiovascular disease and best practices.
• Participates in rotating coverage for after-hours urgent phone calls (minimal) from patients. Required Qualifications:
• Current and unrestricted medical license or willing to obtain a medical license in the state of North Carolina.
• Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program of an accredited university.
• Completion of a residency in medicine and a fellowship in cardiology in ACGME approved programs.
• Current BC/BE in Cardiology (American Board of Internal Medicine/Cardiology).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate a high level of skill in interpersonal relationships and communication with colleagues/patients.
• Fully engaged in the concept of "Integrated team-based care" model.
• Superior patient/customer service.
• Basic computer skills, including email and EMR. We use Athena. Preferred Qualifications:
• 2 years' experience working full-time as a cardiologist.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Outstanding research and analytical skills.
