Pay Information $1,942 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Current RN licensure in West Virginia or compact license pending acceptable Certifications: BLS ACLS NRP FHM AWHONN Must-Have: Flu vaccine required during flu season, with no declinations accepted Required to include permanent home address and social security number in submission Must be greater than 75 miles from facility to submit, with local candidates not accepted Description: The position requires a registered nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. Shift is days, three 12-hour shifts per week. Travelers must clock in and out to receive payment. The patient ratio is 1:3. Any missed shifts require working a make-up shift during the same work week or pay period. Previous employment as permanent staff requires a two-year wait before being hired as a traveler. Travelers must submit required license and certifications. Medical exemptions for the flu vaccine will be considered. Candidates should have two manager or charge references from the past two years. Any previous probationary actions on the license will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Full documentation is due by noon, the Monday prior to the start date. Insufficient documentation will result in a two-week delay. Modules are non-billable and should be completed prior to starting the position.
