TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Pulaski, Virginia, 24301! Pay Information $1,876 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Description: The Emergency Department has 12 beds. There are 25 staff members in the department. Day shift typically has one charge nurse, four registered nurses, and one technician. A clinical coordinator is present from 7 AM to 3 PM. Night shift has one charge nurse and one registered nurse after 1 AM, with a clinical coordinator available from 3 PM to 11 PM. Patient ratios are generally 4:1, unless in the Fast Track area, which has lower acuity. The department is equipped with a Glidescope, bedside ultrasound, EV1000, a trauma room, and a psych safe room. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates must have current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Experience in triaging and stabilizing patients is required. Occasional trauma patients are seen, as well as a sick elderly population and some pediatric patients. The best candidates will have a driven, fast-paced, and outgoing personality. Tattoos must not exceed 50% of any exposed area, and hair must be a natural color.
