Overview: MRI Technologist are eligible for a sign-on bonus up
to $5,000 (Full Time New Hires) MRI Technologist Location: Clemmons
Medical Center Department: MRI Shift: Full Time 40hr Tuesday-Friday
8:00am-6:30pm Precision. Compliance. Coordination. If you're

are specialized healthcare professionals who operate magnetic
resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to create detailed images of the
internal structures of the body . These images are crucial for
helping doctors diagnose and monitor medical conditions Contribute

one person at a time, by providing high-quality imaging services.
What You’ll Do: Operating MRI Equipment: MRI technologists are
responsible for operating and adjusting MRI scanners to obtain
high-quality images. They must understand the complex functionality
of these machines, including imaging sequences and parameters.
Patient Preparation and Care: They explain the MRI procedure to
patients, answer questions, and address any concerns or anxieties.
They also screen patients for any contraindications, such as metal
implants, and ensure their comfort and safety during the scan.
Positioning Patients: MRI technologists carefully position patients
on the MRI table to ensure the accurate imaging of the area of
interest. This requires a good understanding of anatomy. Image
Acquisition and Quality Control: They configure the MRI machine's
settings, monitor the scanning process, and evaluate the images for
technical quality. They may need to make adjustments to get the
best images possible. Administering Contrast Agents: If required,
they administer contrast agents may need to make adjustments to get
the best images possible. Administering Contrast Agents: If
required, they administer contrast agents intravenously to enhance
the images. Documentation and Record-Keeping: MRI technologists
maintain detailed patient records, including medical history,
imaging orders, and observations during the scan. Collaboration
with Medical Teams: They work closely with radiologists and other
healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging and
effective patient care. Maintaining Equipment: MRI technologists
also perform routine checks and coordinate repairs to keep the MRI
machines in optimal condition. What We’re Looking For: Education :
High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree,
preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR
Program, required. Experience : Minimum of one year of experience
in MR, preferred. Licensure/Certification : NH Medical
Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR)

Qualifications: Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program,
required. Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in MR,
preferred. Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center-Certified and
registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of
hire, required. NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility -
Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR),
required. Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered
by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required. IV Credentialed,
required. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for
life support training requirement Applicable state license,
required. Additional Skills (required): Thorough knowledge of MRI
imaging equipment, Analytical ability and basic computer skills.
Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s
requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good
