About The Position Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Radiation Oncology Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Henderson, NC Service Setting: Outpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: Jun 23, 2025 - Ongoing Coverage Type: Clinical Only Shifts needed to be filled: - Jun 23-27 - Jun 30 - Jul 4 - Jul 7-11, 14-18, 21-25 - Jul 28 - Aug 1 - Aug 4-8, 11-15, 18-22, 25-29 - Sep 1-5, 8-12, 15-19, 22-26, 30 Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8a-5p Patient Volume: 10 Phone Consults: 3 Rounding included: Yes Support Staff: - 2 RN & 1 Office Staff - 3 Therapist and 1 Chief Therapist Procedures: - Brachytherapy: Intracavitary, Interstitial, Vascular/Endovascular, LDR ( Low & High dose rate) - External Beam Therapy (EBRT): Linear Accelerator, Tomotherapy, Superficial/Orthovoltage - Techniques: Conventional/Conformal Therapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation therapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Stereotactic Body radiation therapy (SBRT), Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) - all types, Intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT), Total body irradiation (TBI), Total Skin electrons (TSE), Hyper altered fractionation - Treatment planning: Conventional treatment planning, Beam shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT or MRI Image Fusion, Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI), Clinical Trials Duties: - Providers must document in the timesheet the specific reason for the call back and they should have a description such that the note can be validated if an audit report was generated in an electronic health record.
