Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel - Minimum Years of Experience required: 2 years MST - Will accept a first-time traveler: Yes, dependent on experience. Must have strong background in MS - Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - Floating: Yes, to other med/surg units - Weekend rotation: every other - On call: No - Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays - RTO: NM approval - Skills required: - Ability to provide direct and indirect patient care, strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, solid written and oral communication skills, ability to tolerate moderate to high stress levels, and experience reading telemetry strips - Chest tubes, traches, PIV starts, drain & tubes, PCA pumps - Gtt management - Amiodarone (occasionally), Fentanyl PCA, Ketamine PCA, Heparin WILL MOVE QUICK FOR QUICK STARTS Premier Medical Staffing Job ID 585378.
