Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Vascular Sonographer - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of dedicated vascular experience and current BLS and RVT or RVS certification. Responsibilities - Work in both outpatient and inpatient vascular clinic settings serving all age groups - Average daily caseload of 8-12 vascular studies per technologist - Patient population includes individuals with PVD, CAD, HF, CVA, venous insufficiency, renal/celiac/SMA stenosis, renal transplant, and TOS - Procedures include carotid, upper and lower arterial and venous studies, DVT/reflux, vein mapping, renal, mesenteric, AAA, endograft, aorta, PVR/segmental pressures, hemodialysis grafts, iliac veins, and arterial bypass grafts - Uses Philips Epic Elite ultrasound machines, Parks PVR/segmental pressure machines, VascuPro reporting system, and EMR Epic (Epic experience is required) - Standard schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with daily shifts, rotating weekends, and no call - May float to High Point outpatient vascular lab if needed - Schedule cycle is created every 13 weeks for travelers - Works as part of a team with departmental leadership and peers in a traveler-friendly, teamwork-oriented environment - Three-day departmental orientation is provided - Travelers may be asked to cover Thanksgiving and Christmas Day holidays - Approved RTO must be requested prior to contract acceptance, otherwise at manager discretion with at least 4 weeks’ notice - Black scrubs are required - Free parking available - First-time travelers are accepted Requirements - Minimum 2 years of recent vascular ultrasound experience required - Current BLS and ARDMS RVT or CCI RVS certification required - Experience with Epic EMR is required - Must be proficient in dedicated vascular ultrasound procedures including carotid, arterial, venous, DVT/reflux, vein mapping, PVR/segmental pressures, hemodialysis grafts, and arterial bypass grafts - License required if applicable Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625060.
