Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/24/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel MedSurg Neuro Qualifications: - 2 Years with 1 Year of direct MedSurg experience REQUIRED - 1st Time Travelers are not ACCEPTED (Must have at least 2 successful contracts before applying) - Locals are ACCEPTED - REQUIRED Certs: BCLS, NIHSS Skills REQUIRED: - IV Start and Telemetry - Interpretation of dysrhythmias and Management of dysrhythmias, - Med/Surg neuro EXPERIENCE PREFERRED Skills: - PREFERRED Certs: ACLS JOB DETAILS: - Cannot approve Christmas RTO - RATIOS: 1:6. - Unit will accept contracts for 13-16 weeks. - 36 hrs only. - SHIFT: 12HR Days - If RTO includes weekends, time will be added to end of contract to make up for those dates. - Travelers are required to work every other weekend. - Float Requirement: Floating Required: floating required to any other MS/Tele areas, may include COVID care units. If the traveler calls in for a scheduled weekend shift, we will need to have them make up the weekend shifts based on the needs of the unit. Frequent floating may be required. - PATIENT DIAGNOSES: We care primarily for Stroke patients, but also care for possible Neurosurgery patients as well as other Neuro diagnoses, such as Epilepsy, Traumatic and non-traumatic subdural hematomas, and many more SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: - 4 BED Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU). - The unit trains our nurses for the EMU part and it does not typically affect our travelers unless we have trained them. - 42 daily census. - 43 rooms/beds UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR SCRUBS: Navy Referral Bonus: $250-$500 (each referral) Insurance Benefits 401K Benefit About Talent4Health A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
