Diagnostic Cardiology Profession: RN Specialty: Diagnostic
Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8hr Day Shift Hours per Shift:
40 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of cardiac experience required
License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required;
PALS preferred Must-Have: TTE, stress testing, EKG interpretation,
IV management, cardioversion, mild sedation experience, infusion
Description: This position involves working in diagnostic
cardiology. The average daily census includes various cardiac
diagnostic procedures. Common patient diagnoses include heart
failure and other cardiac conditions. Advanced skill requirements
include TTE, stress echo, and dobutamine stress echo studies. The
department is supported by a dedicated cardiac ultrasound educator
and chief sonographer. The culture within the department is patient
