What We Offer: Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer I Schedule : 7am-3pm, PRN Weekends (Saturdays or Sundays) Department : Cardiac Non-invasive lab Location : Kernersville Medical Center - Kernersville, NC What We're Looking For: Education : High School or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate from a formal Cardiovascular Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, preferred. Experience : One year experence, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Registered Cardiac Sonographer, credentials RDCS or RCS (New Graduates will have 6 months to pass registry), required. Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Ability to effectively operate sonographic equipment. Ability to evaluate echocardiogram in order to acquire appropriate diagnostic information. Ability to shift workload to meet patient needs. Ability to use independent judgment to acquire the optimum echocardiogram information in each examination performed. Ability to follow established departmental procedures. Ability to work efficiently and cope with emergency situations. Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of echocardiography interpretation, echocardiography skills, and considerable echocardiography abilities. Communication skills and sensitivity to patient needs. Ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. What You'll Do: We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer (Echocardiographer) to join our team. In this role, you will perform high-quality echocardiograms to support accurate diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, operating advanced ultrasound equipment, capturing clear and complete cardiac images, and recognizing abnormal findings for physician review.
