Liberty Healthcare seeks a compassionate and diligent Medication Technician (CNA) to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the precise administration of medications to our clients, in line with our commitment to deliver personalized and quality care. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, in-depth knowledge of medication administration protocols, and a passion for healthcare. Administer scheduled medications to patients and maintain related medical records under supervision of registered nurse or other medical personnel. Observe patients for drug reactions and report any complications or side effects to the supervising medical staff immediately. Verify that patients take their medication as prescribed and complete follow-up documentation. Assist in updating patient records to reflect current medication schedules and dosages. Provide patients with support and education regarding the proper usage of medications. Ensure that all medications are stored securely and safely, and maintain organization of the medication supply. Participate in the review of health care procedures and make suggestions for improvements. Strong knowledge of medication types, uses, and administration methods. Proficient in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow strict safety and privacy protocols. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Medical Insurance Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required. Additional certification in Medication Administration is highly desirable.
