Family Medicine Residency out of Asheville, North Carolina, has
established a satellite campus in Boone, North Carolina, and has a
position for an Academic Family Medicine w/Obstetrics physician.
Opportunity Details The system has six family medicine faculty in
Boone, North Carolina The group is replacing an OB who is retiring
from full-time practice The group is seeking a family medicine
physician with OB and C-section capabilities The position would
involve a lot of women's health care and prenatal care General
inpatient work would not be a requirement Positions would be about
70% clinical and 30% academic A position might also be available
for an FM with an OB who would not be interested in performing
C-sections It has a solid financial structure, with a $30K sign-on
and excellent benefits, including six weeks of vacation/CME. About
