The Role: •Location: near Hopewell / Charlotte, NC •Assignment duration: Locum Gastroenterologists needed to start ASAP and work ongoing •Schedule: Weekend call Fri 5pm - Mon 7am- covering weekend call. •Call Type: Beeper. •Practice Settings: Inpatient. •Required Specialty Skills: Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), injection of varices), With PEG, Esophageal dilatation/manometry, Lower GI endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Flexible, Rigid, Colonoscopy, with biopsy, with excision of polyp, Insertion/management of Seng taken/Blakemore tube. •Preferred Specialty Skills: Esophageal manometry interpretation, Small Bowel biopsy, Liver biopsy. ACLS, BLS. •Fellowship Required. •EMR: Epic. •Licensed in NC only. Credentialing: 60-90 days.
