Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12
school setting located in Charlotte, NC, with a contract duration
through the current school year ending May 20th, 2026. This role
serves elementary and pre-kindergarten students and offers a
professional opportunity to support developing communication skills
in a dynamic educational environment. Key Responsibilities: -
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language,
and communication disorders within the school setting. - Develop
and implement individualized treatment plans for students based on
their unique needs. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other
professionals to support student progress. - Maintain accurate and
timely documentation, reports, and communication regarding student
goals and progress. - Participate in meetings and contribute to the
development of communication-related interventions and programs.
Qualifications: - Hold a valid North Carolina Speech-Language
Pathologist (SLP) License. - Experience working with elementary and
pre-kindergarten age groups preferred. - Certification as a
Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP-A), Certificate of
Clinical Competence (CCC), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
completion desirable. - Strong communication and interpersonal
skills for effective collaboration with school staff and families.
