An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with Operating Room expertise to provide critical perioperative care in a well-equipped surgical environment. This contract position offers engagement in a variety of surgical specialties with a schedule that supports work-life balance. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive intraoperative patient care across multiple surgical specialties including Orthopedic, Spine, Cardiothoracic, General Surgery, Urology, GYN, Plastic Surgery, and Robotic-assisted procedures. - Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth room turnover and effective patient positioning. - Utilize EPIC electronic medical records and other technological tools such as Alaris IV pumps and Omnicell medication dispensing systems. - Participate in on-call rotations including weeknight, weekend, and holiday coverage as part of a supportive team. - Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and provide quality documentation. Qualifications/Experience Required: - Current RN licensure with a minimum of 2 years Operating Room experience in a specialty area. - BLS certification required. - Experience with EPIC EMR highly preferred. - Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and various surgical procedures. - First-time travelers with solid OR experience are welcome to apply. Schedule: - 12-hour day shifts: 7:00 am 7:00 pm, working 36 hours per week. - Call rotation includes 3-4 weeknight calls and 1-2 weekend shifts per 6-week period.
