Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Med/Surg Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,723 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years Required License: Current North Carolina or Compact License Required Certifications: BCLS and PALS Required Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience - Experience administering chemotherapy - Ability to start IVs and draw lab samples Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit may possibly turn into a Cancel and DNR. Unit will accept first-time travelers if they possess the required experience. Chemo experience and certification are preferred. Target nurse-patient ratios are 1:5-6. The unit will require floating to PICU and NICU. Weekend coverage is necessary every other weekend. Patient demographics include ages 0-17 with medical surgical and hematology/oncology diagnoses. Unit systems utilized include Pyxis and Epic. Self-scheduling is available for this position. Call requirements for this role are not applicable. A maximum of 7 days of RTO is allowed for this position, which must not fall on holidays. The candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. No RTO is permitted during the first week of the assignment due to orientation. Candidates must be available to float to other units based on skill sets and census. Two references from managers/supervisors within the past 12 months are preferred at the time of submission. Travel pairs are allowed but must work on different units. Travelers cannot work more than 5 days in a row or exceed 60 hours in a week. Modules must be completed pre-start and annually, with hours varying by specialty.
