Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years License: Active RN License Certifications: Active HWC or CPI Certification Must-Have: - Certification with Handle with Care, BLS Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse to work in a Behavioral Health setting. This role involves providing care to adult patients with various mental health conditions. Common diagnoses may include schizophrenia, manic bipolar disorder, psychosis, and medical detox. The position requires effective communication and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Patient ratios vary with 23 patients to 2 RNs, 20 patients to 2 RNs, and additional structured ratios for smaller unit sizes. Applicants must have a strong understanding of mental health treatment and support. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including weekend hours. Preferred candidates will demonstrate experience in managing dual diagnoses, depression, and anxiety disorders. The dress code allows any color scrubs.
