Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,913 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN - MedSurg/Tele Profession: RN Specialty: MedSurg/Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 18 months Med/Tele RN License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Ortho experience - General Med/Tele skillset including stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management, foley insertion/management, PCA pump management, and medication gtt management Description: This position involves working in a medical and telemetry environment. The facility has 207 licensed beds and does not have a trauma designation. Chest pain and stroke centers are available on-site. The patient types will vary based on unit assignments. You will be assigned a home unit on the first day of orientation. The primary unit will support all inpatient units and ED holding. Common diagnoses include congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chest pain workups, and respiratory issues. Additional units include general medical overflow and surgical patients. These include various surgical procedures and orthopedic surgeries. Patient ratios are typically 1:5-6, with a critical surge of 1:7-8. Support within the department includes CNAs, receptionists, charge nurses, phlebotomy, and a resource nurse as staffing allows. Telemetry monitoring will be managed by telemetry techs. Floating to different units within the region and scope of practice is expected. Weekend rotations are required every other weekend, with no call. Travelers will be expected to work 75% of holidays. Up to 6 days off may be approved, excluding holidays, with time added to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours. Scrub color for staff is navy. The facility provides free parking.
