An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Operating Room procedures to provide exceptional perioperative care in a dynamic surgical environment. Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care in various surgical specialties including orthopedics, neurosurgery, cardiovascular, urology, gynecology, and general surgery. - Assist in advanced surgical procedures utilizing cutting-edge technology such as the Da Vinci XI robotic system and Stryker equipment. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including residents in a teaching hospital setting. - Participate in weekend rotations and be available for cardiovascular operating room call with prompt response expectations. - Support departmental initiatives under the guidance of charge nurses, service leads, and perioperative educators. - Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC electronic medical record system. - Uphold infection control and safety standards within the operating suite. Qualifications: - Registered Nurse licensed with at least two years of hospital operating room experience. - Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS as required for the role. - Demonstrated competence in circulation skills and perioperative nursing practices. - Experience with adult patient populations; pediatric experience is not required. - Ability to adapt to variable shift lengths and scheduling cycles.
