Salem offers scenic mountain views, a welcoming community, and access to outdoor recreation, making it an ideal location for healthcare professionals seeking travel OR Tech jobs in Virginia./n /n/n /n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1690 - $1820/n /n/nOR Tech Job Details – Salem, VA/n /n - Location: Salem, VA 24153 (Virginia healthcare job)/n - Assignment Type: Travel Operating Room Technician/n - Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 1/5/2026 – End: 4/6/2026)/n - Shift: 8 Hour Days (06:45 – 15:15)/n - Hours per Week: 40/n - Unit: Main OR – 11 operating rooms/n - Patient Ratio: 1:1/n - Call Requirement: 1 night per week and 1.5 weekends every 8 weeks/n - Documentation System: Meditech/n /n/nQualifications – Operating Room Tech/n /n - Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) in a Level II or higher facility/n - Proficient in Ortho trauma, Craniotomies, Burr holes, Robotic general surgery (Appy, Lap Chole), Cystoscopies, ENT, and Total Joint procedures/n - Advanced skills with DaVinci robots and Ortho trauma procedures/n - Current BLS certification required/n - CST/ORT certification required/n /n/nKey Responsibilities – OR Tech Travel Assignment/n /n - Assist surgeons and the operating room team in procedures including Cystoscopy, Lumbar Laminectomy, Total Joints, Robotic general and GYN, ENT, minimal plastic surgeries, and breast surgeries/n - Operate and maintain specialized surgical equipment: Hanah Tables, Jackson tables, vascular beds, Cysto beds, and Robot beds/n - Ensure accurate clinical documentation using Meditech/n - Participate in scheduled call rotations as required/n - Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient operating room environment/n /n/n /n Experience the best of Virginia’s Blue Ridge region while growing your career in a supportive hospital setting.
