Retirement plan Dear Unicorn, Congratulations—you’re a rare breed,
and I’m sure your inbox is full of offers. Let me give you one
worth reading. I’m Doug Rogers, and my wife and I own and operate
Autohaus, a thriving independent Euro-specialty repair shop in
Raleigh, NC. We’ve built something special here, and we’re looking
for a very particular kind of technician. Let me tell you what *my*
definition of a Unicorn A-Tech looks like: What Makes You a
Unicorn: You’ve mastered Eurocars—Audi/VW, BMW, Benz, the whole
crew—whether at the dealer or high-volume indy shop. But you’re no
Eurosnob. You’ll wrench on anything with wheels and a VIN. You can
flag 50 hours regularly, and you’ve got the paperwork to prove it.
We pay 125% of book time on all but a few oddball jobs, so if you
can do 40 hours at a regular shop, you'll thrive here. You show up,
suit up, and lift up. You’ve got rock-solid attendance, a work
ethic that makes managers weep with joy, and zero interest in
workplace drama. You make the team better just by being in the
room. How We Take Care of Our Unicorns: No Weekends. Ever.
Monday–Friday, 8 to 5. Plus, we have AC in the shop, and we're not
afraid to use it. Company-paid employee health insurance—100%. And
it’s actually usable. Want zero deductible? Upgrade to Platinum.
Easy. Because a limping Unicorn is just sad. Our visiting masseuse
keeps you limber and relaxed. Ongoing training, in-house and
beyond. We want your brain as sharp as a set of German chef's
knives. The industry changes, and we help you stay ahead. Sound
like a better fit than where you are now? Let’s talk. Send over
your resume and let’s set up a call. I’ll be honest, good people
are hard to find, and I’m not looking for "just another tech." I’m
looking for a Unicorn. Thanks for reading all the way down here.
