Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Winston Salem, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $1,794 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified PCU RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103! Job Opportunity – Progressive Care/Telemetry RN – North Carolina Start Date: March 9, 2026 Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week available, 4 weekend shifts in 6 weeks (may require more based on staffing needs) Highlights: Mixed acuity unit combining Progressive Care, Telemetry, and Med/Surg patients in a 48-bed unit Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5 (may reach 1:6 in extreme situations) with extensive interdisciplinary support Manage respiratory patients including chronic trach/vent, chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, and telemetry monitoring Epic charting system with comprehensive resources including admission/discharge nurse, assistant nurse manager on shift, vascular access team, and respiratory therapists 13-week contract with flexibility for block scheduling when unit needs are met 24 hours of orientation provided; first-time travelers accepted Requirements: Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required Current RN license (North Carolina or Compact state accepted) Active ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred Strong IV skills with experience in ventilator management, telemetry, and dysrhythmia interpretation/management Proficiency with CPAP/BiPAP management, chest tubes, and cardiac/vasoactive drips (Dopamine, Cardizem, Heparin) Ability to float to similar units within the facility as needed Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) Must pass EKG testing prior to start date Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a high-acuity environment with exceptional team support and resources designed to help you succeed.
