(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. A 1099 contract opportunity is available for a skilled
Sign Language Interpreter specializing in telehealth services
within a school setting. This role is based in Gastonia, NC, and
requires expertise in facilitating effective communication between
deaf or hard-of-hearing students and educators or healthcare
providers through virtual platforms. Key responsibilities include:
Providing clear and accurate interpretation of sign language during
telehealth sessions Assisting students in understanding educational
and medical information communicated remotely Collaborating with
educators and healthcare professionals to ensure communication
access Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all
interactions Adapting interpretation techniques to fit virtual
environments Required qualifications and experience: Proficiency in
American Sign Language and telehealth interpretation techniques
Experience working as a sign language interpreter in educational or
healthcare settings Strong understanding of deaf culture and
