Job Description:
Southern Health Partners seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN)
to lead our healthcare team as the Medical Team Administrator at
the Iredell County Jail, NC. This Full-Time position requires a
dynamic and proactive nursing professional to oversee the provision
of healthcare services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality
medical care to the inmate population. The successful candidate
will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, manage clinical
operations, and focus on improving healthcare outcomes while
adhering to cost-effective practices and innovative solutions.
Supervise and lead the nursing and medical staff at the facility.
Develop and implement healthcare policies and procedures that meet
facility and regulatory standards. Manage patient care, ensuring
all medical treatments are administered appropriately and in a
timely manner. Conduct regular staff training sessions to ensure
team is current on the latest healthcare practices and compliance
standards. Prepare and manage the healthcare budget, focusing on
cost-efficiency and effective resource utilization. Maintain
accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality is upheld per
HIPAA guidelines. Liaise with external healthcare providers,
facilities, and agencies to coordinate services and improve
healthcare delivery systems. Strong leadership and organizational
skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in handling medical equipment. Ability to work under
pressure in a challenging environment. Skilled in clinical
procedures and compliance with correctional facility healthcare
regulations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life
Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
