As a Registered Nurse Medical Team Administrator at the Iredell
County Jail, you will lead a team dedicated to improving inmate
health and well-being, while reflecting cost-effective practices in
line with our mission. This integral position balances
administrative responsibilities with hands-on patient care,
providing an ideal environment for healthcare professionals who
seek a diverse and challenging workday. Oversee daily operations of
the jail's medical unit Administer direct care and clinical
services as per physician orders Manage and train nursing and
supporting healthcare staff Ensure compliance with health care
policies, protocols, and safety standards Coordinate with
correctional facility staff and external medical providers Maintain
accurate records of patient care and medication management Evaluate
patient health and ensure effective nursing interventions Clinical
nursing skills Leadership and administrative capacities Strong
interpersonal and communication skills Adept at multi-tasking and
prioritizing Proficiency in electronic health record systems
Decision-making and problem-solving ability Medical Insurance Valid
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification CPR
