Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Durham, North Carolina, 27710!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Minimum of 2 recent years License: State RN license in hand or
compact license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Neuro
experience is preferred, but candidates with strong general
medicine or surgical experience will be considered. Description:
Targeted start date: 4/6 needed! Position available for RN in a
Neuro Stepdown unit. Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of
recent experience. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and
NIHSS. Charting experience with EPIC is required. Floating to other
units such as Med/Surg, Neuro, Stepdown, and PCU may be required.
Weekend shifts are every other weekend. Blocked scheduling is not
available. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Local
candidates are also encouraged to apply. Flu vaccine is required
with no exemptions accepted. Scrub colors are royal blue. Previous
charge experience is preferred. Patient ratios will vary and must
be in line with unit standards. Patient age groups include adults
and geriatrics. Daily census and number of rooms are subject to
change. Interdisciplinary support is provided, including therapy
and pharmacy services. Special procedures may include lumbar
drains, external ventriculostomies, and vasoactive drips. Special
equipment utilized in the unit includes SCDs and various lift
equipment. Compliance requirements must be met throughout the
