Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Greensboro, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,009 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27403! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required. Must-Have: - Previous experience in Phase 1 PACU required. - Experience with ambulatory or outpatient care, pain management, and Phase 2 recovery preferred. - Strong knowledge of EKG and dysrhythmia recognition/management. - Ability to manage central lines, IVs, and administer procedural sedation. Description: This role requires a Registered Nurse specializing in PACU. The nurse will be responsible for the post-anesthesia care of patients. They will monitor patient recovery, manage pain, and provide discharge instructions. Nurses must demonstrate competency in EKG and pass the EKG exam. Call coverage may be required, along with weekend and holiday shifts as needed. Candidates should have experience with various surgical cases, including orthopedic, urology, and gynecological procedures. The ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team is essential. Candidates should be aware of the facility's policies regarding attendance and punctuality.
