Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel PAY: Traveler Pay: $2254 weekly ($21 on w2 $1246 Stipend) for 48 hours. JOB DETAILS: - Position - Respiratory Therapist - Location - 3333 Silas Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27103, United States - Duration - 13 weeks contract - Shift - 4x12 hours Night (18:45 - 07:15) - Work Location - On Location Ability to commute/relocate: Winston-Salem, NC 27103: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work. REQUIREMENT: - 2 years of experience required - BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP - RRT, NC State License Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in ER, Adult ICU, Med/Surg, and ICU/Stepdown units. - Perform advanced airway management, including emergency airway support and intubation assistance. - Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators, including conventional ventilation and heated high-flow therapy. - Administer prescribed respiratory medications and aerosol therapies accurately and safely. - Perform and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and adjust therapy based on clinical findings. - Deliver and monitor oxygen therapy, including nasal cannula, masks, BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow systems. - Provide airway clearance therapies such as suctioning, pulmonary toileting, vest therapy, MetaNeb, PAP therapy, and nebulizer treatments.
