Job Description:
Encompass Health seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our
team focused on providing unparalleled patient-centered care across
our integrated healthcare services, which include inpatient
rehabilitation and home-based care. Our goal is to achieve
high-quality outcomes through expertly curated care plans tailored
to each patient’s needs. As a Registered Nurse, you will support
these objectives directly, engaging with patients in a dynamic,
compassionate environment, and contributing to a supportive and
innovative team. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer
medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor for efficacy
and adverse effects. Educate patients and their families on
post-treatment home care needs, conditions, and steps to ensure
recovery. Record patients' medical information and vital signs, and
report any significant changes to the attending physician. Maintain
a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures,
rules, and regulations. Support departmental goals and contribute
to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Strong clinical skills with an ability to handle high-stress
situations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in using healthcare software and systems Ability to work
both independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and
time-management skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state
of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac
Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
