Neurosurgery Locums Job in North Carolina Call Only Beginning ASAP - Ongoing Assignment

Coverage Details
Start as soon as credentialed
Estimated credentialing: 30 days for temporary privileges (clean background required)
Will accept multiple providers

Shift Description
Beeper call only coverage, 8AM - 8PM
3-5 days per month on weekday and weekends, no clinical coverage

Call Details
Call response time: 20 minutes
Call ratio: 1:3
Average 8 phone consults per 24 hours
Average 3 patients per shift
Admissions average: varies 1-2
APPs are on first call

Requirements
BC in Neurosurgery
Fellowship
Active NC license ONLY
ACLS
ATLS
BLS
ABLS

General neurosurgery: Adult + Pediatric
Cerebrovascular: Open, Endovascular
Carotid or Vertebral artery surgery
Aneurysm clipping
Tumors
Neuroendocrine surgery
Stereotactic radiosurgery

VP shunt
Skull base surgery
Spinal surgery with instrumentation
Cervical
Thoracic
