Job Description:

Under direction of the Regional Vice President, Director of Operations and Revenue Cycle Director, performs administrative and office support and revenue cycle activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:---Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries.---Answers the telephone in a timely and polite manner.---Assist with coverage of front office check-in/check-out when needed---Work credit balances/refunds as directed by Revenue Cycle Director---Assist Director of Practice Operations with credentialing documents in a timely manner---Communicates effectively and efficiently with credentialing company, providers and all other key stakeholders---Assist Regional Vice President and Director of Operations with creating and maintaining office documents, such as reports, data sheets, memorandums, invoices---Assists Regional Vice President and Diretor of Operations with credit card receipt management and entry into system/also assists with expense reimbursement ---Assists Regional Vice President and Director of Operations with development of PowerPoint presentations and Excel/Word documents needed for special projects or meetings---Coordinates meetings and schedules meetings for Regional Vice President and Director of Operations via Outlook calendar---Assists Regional Vice President and Director of Operations with scheduling of meetings or other appointments, travel arrangements, etc. as needed and according to policy and procedure---Assist Director of Operations with ordering of supplies for practice locations---Assists Director of Operations with monthly schedule submission to corporate team for providers---Maintains operations by following policies and procedures, and reports changes as needed.---Assists Director of Operations with medical records requests (when applicable)---Must be cordial and highly professional in appearance, tone and delivery and an effective communicator.---Maintains strict patient confidentiality as well as safeguards all practice information.---Communicates with patients, visitors, providers and team members in a courteous, professional, cooperative and mature manner.---Performs other administrative and clerical duties as assigned.SKILLS:---Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.---Must be an exceptional listener with the ability to effectively communicate withemployees, physicians and various business contacts in a professional and courteousmanner.---Excellent oral and written communication skills, thinks critically and strategically.---Some flexibility as it relates to schedule, responsibilities and priorities.---Knowledge of dermatology practice preferable.---Interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills are important.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:---High school graduate or GED.---Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint required---Preferred: Associates or Bachelor's Degree, experience in corporate healthcare, hospital or physician practice setting environment---Front office experience preferred---Knowledge of payer credentialing preferredQUALIFICATIONS:---Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to push, pull and reach. Ability tooccasionally bend, stand, stoop and stretch. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. Havefull range of body motion.---Have the hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity needed to operate a keyboard,photocopier, telephone, calculator and medical equipment.---Have a normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicateappropriate reports; specific vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, colorvision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.---Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.ADDITIONAL NOTES:---Work at other jobs or office locations, as required.---Occasional travel may be required.
